Durante sessão na Câmara Municipal de Caucaia, o vereador Jwellington fez duras críticas ao presidente do Instituto do Meio Ambiente de Caucaia (IMAC), Felipe Leite. Segundo o parlamentar, um ofício enviado há quase 120 dias segue sem qualquer resposta por parte da autarquia, o que ele classificou como desrespeito não apenas ao seu mandato, mas à população.
O vereador destacou que a ausência de respostas prejudica diretamente o andamento das ações parlamentares e compromete a eficiência dos serviços públicos. Ao final de seu discurso, Jwellington foi categórico: “Se não consegue exercer a função, pede pra sair”, em referência direta à atuação de Felipe Leite à frente do IMAC.
A cobrança pública acendeu um alerta sobre a relação entre o legislativo e os órgãos da administração municipal, evidenciando o desgaste entre vereadores e membros do governo em meio às cobranças por mais eficiência e diálogo.
